In accordance with Article VI (Nominations and Elections), Section 2 of the By-Laws of the Middle Atlantic Regional Council (MARC) of the National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials (NAHRO), in January, 2012 Andrew P. French, as President of the Regional Council appointed the following five (5) member representatives as the 2012 Nominating / Elections Committee: Chairman of the 2012 MARC Nominating Committee
MARC NAHRO Bylaw Revision The purpose of the proposed amendments is to clarify attendance policies and to extend membership to FELLOWS and Service Officers. (Note: The MARC Board may consider and recommend approval of proposed Bylaws. The Bylaws themselves are amended by action of the Membership at its Annual Meeting. MARC NAHRO BYLAWS Background The current By Laws provide at Article IV, Section 4, that the Executive Board shall hold not less than two regular meeting each year, at least one of which will be held at the time and place of the annual convention of the Regional Council and permits special meetings of the Board with ten days notice either on the call of the Regional President or by the Secretary upon the request of at least one fourth of the membership of the Board.
